Babbling brooks in meadows
have cried for our presence
They know of no reasons
To have a love of hatred
We walked among the trees
The wind caressed our arms
Our minds were greeted once again
under the silent moon
We dreamt of togetherness
and held time in our pockets
Our souls just could not depart
Like birds with no wings
It is caring hearts
that others have cried for
You and I have lived within dreams
And our love is found in songs
Though no stones will be thrown
at our heart’s passion
We know of others who search to find
Mere pebbles for themselves
