Words That Should be Kept Locked in Closets

Your unscathed love is attached
To my heart, while it caresses
Your breath, only to find a piece
Of my soul while it lies in a dark place

We are united in our thoughts
Though the night is thick
Our lips do not quench our thirst
And it is time for the moonrise

We sit like horses on green pastures
Making love to the wind
While the bulls in the distance
Bow down to our presence

It is neither you nor I
Who controls the night air
As it shifts from words
That should be kept locked in our closets

We will become our thoughts
Like the tides become the ocean
Though you and I shall never part
It is an everlasting message from my soul
