In us we find our own soul
Whispers of ourselves reaching out
Like truths never spoken
Distant from the rest
We lie among the ruins of our past
Sitting on memories
We gasp for the last breath of comfort
As the sun tries to shine
While dreaming of love it plays its harp
There is solitude amongst the seasons
There are white knights
Or passion is found in circles
Love is never to be unspoken
Others have cried for tall men
They want faces from magazines
Or prettiness like stars
I am untouched by your hard smiles
As you whisk me into the night
Of redemption. You listen as I talk
You have your own dreams
