Withering, withering
I sit here dithering
On my life
It lies before me
Wandering, pondering
Thoughts in my head
Sometimes they come
To places I've never been
Meandering, pandering
Get your pen and papers
Quickly you lose them
From within your bed
Floundering, floundering
Like white lies
We teach ourselves
A falsehood becomes a true
Dithering, aspiring
I have found it
You must not ask
Why I write
