The lights upon our souls and eyes behold
Caress the air to fly just like a dove
While feeling warmth from bodies, as we love
The truth before our lives it does unfold
We see our heavens now, though we are told
To wait and see for us to rise above
True failure of our hearts is just like gloves
Whose leather wears and tears when it gets old
To see the blue upon the daylight sky
We cannot wait until we reach the gate
True happiness will make our minds deny
That withered souls have woke up way too late
To say the birds don’t fly is to imply
We’ll only eat our food on golden plates
