You can taste their hatred
Of our words-
It lingers...like unsavored tea
Amongst their company we do not-
Wish to keep
You can feel their oppression
Look closely and you will find-
Black eyes and black hearts
Intermingled with sour-
And repugnant tongues
You can hear their sorrowed chants
Once more they cry for justice-
Though they only possess. Borrowed guns
And homemade bombs-
While true love is thrown by the wayside
You can see their lost souls-
As they wander in the streets
Aimlessly they look for homes-
While God waits with open arms
Unremittingly...
