Oh dear medicine people, keepers of the night
Is it that you have followed my soul?
From the plains of life…
Set ablaze by my heart’s desire…
Or watched me…while I stumbled
Within the realms of muddy pastures
And you realize now…that we have shared
The same plate from life…
And bore the same pain…
Though we are not…all mothers with children
We shall be free now…
Within our heart’s footsteps…
Alas we can join together in prayer
And give glory to our only creator
When sad times have fallen upon the world…
When men have gone against their brothers…
And bows are not used…just for hunting…
It is my desire to be with all of you…forever
I will sing you songs from high places…
While I take apart…the grains of sand
And give my love to wretched hearts
Men who desire to know about comfort…
And cry upon my shoulder…
For life has always…been a struggle…
And they have not yet…
Found light…everlasting from above…
