Cries deep from my heart
passing time, as though
they yearned for chocolate drops
melting moments of passion,
dripping with hunger, felt by want
Whispered songs driven
from the spirit, yet now
a rambling of thoughts
black on white linen
fine pointed from my thesaurus
Time gave me more words
to press between my pen
as emotions sat quiet
while my gasping continued
and swirls came through once again
Near death from exhaustion
as my penned dream
now became a reality
I lived what I wrote-
and I wrote what I lived
Time to give up, or just for now
believe it is finished
while the poem spreads
far within the realms of eternity
The words executed by my soul
