Thanks for giving me a dream to dream

The night slowly edges to the abyss of dreams.
As I enter into another world it seems.

Her essence of woman fills my mind.
Her virtues are many, her life is kind

She gives freely and willingly of herself.
She blesses all that she touches.

Her lover's eyes light up my mind.
As I yearn to take her and make her mine.

She yields to my tender voice as we walk
Together through my heart.

Always looking for the right time and place
We chance life with a giddy-headed pace.

No looking back nor turning around
Dreams go forward and have endless bounds.

Going full circle from dark to light,
Gives me great purpose, strength, and might.

She is all that I need to dream that dream.
Forever together, wondrous it seems.

Dreams come true only if you believe
In the keeper of dreams: you'll see.

For one day I will find you high on that mountain.
Love newly flowing, springing forth like youth's fountain.

Nestled together in blissful eternity.
Quiet mornings, sipping tea-serenity

For I will grow ancient in those arms of yours.
My head snug on your lap-as my eyes close
And I dream once more.

Randy - I read through a few of your poems. I'm, let's say, a bit surprised but impressed. Dreaming is my favorite so far. Good seeing you in this light. GK
