Through our past mistakes our present is made better and a better present makes for a lovely future.

The rising grey winter’s moon blended the fading sunlight into the early night sky.

She moved with purpose and repose as she walked toward me standing in the glittering snow.

Spellbound by her beauty, her raw nature, her pristine pose, I watched her come toward me. I’ve never had a dream come true in all my old years, yet here she is with eyes of pure intent. With a devilish smile she crooked her finger toward me and held out her hand.

I looked deeply into her eyes as my frosty breath fell silently on her face. The well’s spring of her soul flowed through those eyes that were piercing my very self as she gazed intently at my heart. So many times she must have done that. So many times she was hurt. She has learned to harden her heart against imposters and those who just look at her beauty. She has taught herself to look deep into the hard recesses of a man’s heart to know who he is.

And there I stand before her as her judgement encircles me. Seconds seemed like hours as I stand transfixed and silent as I feel her eyes searching the hidden reaches of my heart. This is the only way she knows to seek truth and honor from a man. A man humbled in respect to the woman he now knows he loves. As her eyes close and she reaches deep inside of the woman she knows she is, she feels his trust, his strength, his honor. He is real she reasons as her hand touches his. A gentle first kiss, and reddened blush on her face, makes her feel like a woman again.

The days quickly fall together as weeks join months. The slow voyage that they traveled allowed them to daily learn each other. Patience, practice, and practical purpose gave them the tools they needed. The sultry looks they both now share with each other makes love merry. Tears of joy shed. Much laughter shared. Lots of tea together. Time stands still in relationships like this. Age doesn’t matter.

Through our past mistakes our present is made better and a better present makes for a lovely future.

Ahh, this was definately a lovely work of art.
This surrenderous love...enjoyed the read tremendously.
Such depth and desire of honest love, the way it should be I believe.

Thank you for sharing such a gem, one will not grow weary to read this more than once that is for sure.

Love transcends age, reason, knowledge, culture, ideology - you name it love transcends it.

Fascinating how it is a kiss and not just a simple touch by a hand, that makes a woman feel emotionally fulfilled. For a man, his fulfilment is validated by a simple certain returned glance - to begin with. Mutuality guides the next stages.

It really doesn't when true love is found, and cherished.
