A picture perfect sunset painted on two hearts laying together on ocean's sand can never be captured my words alone.
The salty sun drenched breeze is a refreshing reminder of her as the waves crest the shore and tickle her feet as they play in the frothy foam like two kids. She’s an ocean girl. Beached blonde and dark golden as a sunset. She looks at him with down turned eyes over her razor shades and gives him the look he so loves to see. She lays back in the surf and soaks up the coolness of the sand on her back as the evening sun reflects off her face. He sits behind her; legs to her side and her head in his lap. She sun unveils its palette and paints the horizon in colors that blaze across the water straight to their hearts. She softly whispers to him that she loves him and they will always be like a sunset chasing the horizon. His mind and soul are centered on her as his fingers twirl her salty blonde hair around in tight spirals. I never want the sun to set. This time of evening on the coast romances the spirit of two lovers intertwined and caught in the moment as her lips taste the ocean’s spray on his. Passion flows as the surf wets the fire between them. Forever embraced, locked together in love’s prose. They give themselves up in total surrender on those sands to remember.
A search for the ghost of a chorus girl chorine haunting a costume designer’s Manhattan apartment leads to an encounter with an eccentric, mischievous witch with the ability to send folks back through time…in this case, the 1919 Ziegfeld Follies.
