The dreary dark days of winter’s wind wrap cold gusts around my thoughts,as I wrestle with zephyrs of frozen tentacles encasing my mind in mid-winter dreams.
I taste the swirling wind as it forces my hunger into submission. Fighting the urge to give into the cold, I am reminded of you.
The fiery passion of your heart keeps my dreams warm against the chill of the night.
As the lights glow cold in the valley below, I stand on the rock I so often come too.
It is a journey I sojourn through with an open mind of understanding and a heart of glowing embers sparking the night.
On this day, I remember you as I lock my cherished memories secure
within my heart.
The eeriness of the night breeze howls low on the ridge. Growling softly as if moaning its passage beyond my thoughts.
I wonder if this breeze touches your face so far away. I wonder if the flakes of snow it carries melt on your lips.
I blow a kiss in the wind like Cupid’s arrow shot straight to your heart.
So when the pain blows within your life stand firm against its power and hold your head high and catch my kisses in the wind.
