The difference between those of us who have survived and those who have passed is "Mortality"
Within my own mortality I survive Lost in the place you were alive And I feel your touch And I hear how much You need me... You love me... Within my own mortality and dusty thoughts, I remember again, the ring I bought� And I sense you near And I see your tear And I watch your lips say "I love you... I love you..." Within my own mortality I seek Fading memories of whom I speak� Empty shadows toward which I reach Moving through me, impossible to catch... And still, I feel your heat� And still, our lips meet... And I hear you whisper... "I'll never leave... "I�ll never leave..." Within my own mortality I wander, With fading memories of when I met her� Finding her now lost, in her lost mortality� Yet, still, I listen with hope� Yet, still, I try to grope For the strength to remember her words; The laughter and love I heard� Before �Goodbye�� Before �Goodbye�� TomWatson

Good poetry. I still have not let Tom gol He died Aug 17 07 but his spirit is with me always. Going to his grave tomorrow and eating my lunch there for Father's Day. Feel I have to do this. We do not forget out loves and I am not being morbid, just grieving still. Not ready to quit and told to take all the time I need and not listen to anyone otherwise. Liked this tribute you wrote. *********
