Celebrate the moment of togetherness, remember the time of separateness, and cherish the promised reunion
Happy anniversary, my love, my wife. The days, months, years have come and gone, Yet you still reside a part of my life And I cannot accept alone� Shouldn�t I? Didn�t you die? Didn�t we cry? Why not say �goodbye�? How appropriate the sky this day; And the temperature, chilly�cold; Sheets of rain, spots of sun, tears have their way But even they grow weary�grow old� Don�t they? Will they go away? Will their tracks not stay? Why not ignore the empty day? Weariness is the flower�s name ; Emptiness is the vase it fills; Loneliness is where, in this life�s game, Tears keep it fresh � still� But why? Is my life a lie? Did I sleep with you as you died? Why can�t I leave your spirit outside? On other days I can hide from the facts; In the dark of other empty evenings, There are no darker shadows behind my back, No whisperings of laughter that made my heart sing� Lost days Empty nights... A journey on my way To seeing you fresh in my sight� Anyway, Happy anniversary my dear. I wish you peace, and cool comfort as you rest, Waiting until I shake you awake, draw you near, And lead you with me to eternity as my guest. Tom Watson, 2008

Sorry for your loss, it is hard I know but we must celebrate the anniversaries with memories too. You said a lot that I think about in this verse and bring memories to me and I know how great your love was to her, as my love for Tom was and always will be. We must go on with life and sometimes it is hard and we just feel we have to be with them. God Bless You at all times.
