The morning light touches us softly
gently stirring us awake
Curled around each other
slowly releasing us form a dreamy state

Gentle and warm are morning kisses
as we snuggle under warm covers
We stay wrapped around each other
savoring our precious moments as lovers

Warm is your breath upon my neck
as gentle hands begin to trace
each contour of my body
ending in bliss you kiss my face

Resisting and trying to hold at bay
another beginning of a new day
Stealing a few more minutes together
before we go our separate way
