Another poem written in memory of "my first love" of many years ago.
Someone touched my heart,
filled it full of love. Someone kissed my
tears away giving me happier days.
He touched my life with sunshine,
made my spirits soar, opened my
soul to loves mystic door.
With tenderness and reverence,
he held me in his arms. I could
feel his heart beating next to mine.
Passionately he kissed my lips,
giving me a feeling so sublime,
I knew he cared about me in that
place and time.
Then we said goodbye to romance
that might have been, but because
he gently touched my life, I'll
always remember him.
