This poem was inspired by Andy, who compared me to fine wine, in his review of my poem, "Without Your Love"

There are different kinds of
wine I'm told

Some are vintage, very old
Some have a sweet bouquet,
others are tart and bold

We like our wine served in
a crystal glass

We sip it very slow,
it courses through our veins,
making a tingleing warming glow

A kiss or two is shared
as we savor our fine wine
Soon its off to bed ,
passionate pleasures to find

A pleasent evening was spent
in the quiet countryside,
with my loving husband,
lying by my side

Red wine and fragrant candlelight
made our night complete
We woke up fresh and eager ,
a new day to greet
