A poem about my frst real love of many years ago. (A repost)

We met in the summer time
on a bright sunny day
He took my hand and held it,
as afternoons light faded away

He asked me to meet him
beneath the moon lit sky
Should I go I wondered,could
he care for someone such as I

We met in the woodland park
when the stars were shining bright
The golden moon was casting shadows
in the warm sultry night

He took me in his arms,
kissing me passionately
Sweet words were whispered
about how much he desired me

My feeling were running rampart,
our emotions were so strong
I thought,desire like this,
canot be so wrong

Gently he held me,
while loving me tenderly
He was my first real love,
I thought our romance would always be

Sometimes love doesn't last forever,
feelings do not stay the same
Eventually we parted,
yet his memory remains

Some nights he still comes to me,
as I dream of that moonlit park,
for its where he took my love,
when I was, Captured In The Dark
