An ode of love for my special Valentine

I looked for many years,
through days of lonely time
I searched for someone special
who would touch this heart of mine

Then one day I met you,
by chance or perhaps t'was fate
We walked and talked, and then
you asked me, for a dinner date

Our romance began to blossom,
We were together all the time
I really liked your children
and you accepted mine

Enchantment filled our lives,
happiness was in our hearts
You asked me to become your wife,
together we'd make a brand new start

Many years have come and gone
since our younger days of yore
We've walked hand in hand together,
through life's open door

Never have we faultered,
though the road was really tough
God was walking with us,
We felt his loving touch

As we continue onward,
in this our enchanted time
I thank God daily, for a special
love that graced this heart of mine
