A HUNGER FOR PARADISE

Why be a chicken
when you could be
a golden eagle

A chicken takes
his food from the ground
and eagles where
it may be found

An eagle limits not himself
Nor on no man does he depend

He makes his nest
high on a mountain
protecting his young
from the enemy

He is wild and free
And others let him be
His only enemy is man
who takes his life
with gun in hand

Man's enemy also is man
Who may shoot you down
like he does the eagle
Today, to shoot an eagle is illegal

There are many ways to
kill humans
War takes many lives
And there is abortion

Crime runs rampert
on the streets
Simply for greed
not want
And then there is
adultery
crime against the family

Man because of greed 
and selfishness
is destroying our
beautiful earth
given to us by God

Destroy, destroy, destroy
is the work of Satan
Should we give in
to such an enemy?

No, I think not
We must change our
way of thinking
Think like an eagle
The bird of our Nation

Bald eagles are monogamous
They are more than a bird
A man can be more than he is

Why not be like the eagle
Not like a chicken
who eats from the ground

We could leave the earth
'That is our spirits could'
Fly like an eagle
High in the sky
And eat from the hand of God
