of what they gave us
now constructive critism well that’s a horse of a different color

an artist friend of mine recently was told that her work wasn't what the gallery was looking for, Bah HumBug. The color schemes too bright, the matting all wrong, basic bullshit. I want all artists to know everywhere that what you do, as long as it's from your gut is ART. Just because some dimwit says different, if it MOVES you, then it is valid, if it moves someone else that's nice, but keep at it, don't squelch your joy for someone elses idea of how it SHOULD be, chances are they're just stupid.
