when fax was a four-letter word
I made my debut in the workaday world

I’m still quite astounded
about all of this
this projection to points unknown
of my heart and soul
for all to see
this baring
this sharing
especially this caring
the third dimension
is here
and I love it
where hearts meet hearts
with disregard
to social ideas of race or gender
or any physical or social traits
you know me not
and yet you know me well
better I would say
than
even
the friends I call dear
and with that said
I raise a cyber toast
