how cool is that

that a scrawny kid
a.k.a. Mexican jumping bean
could put something anything to paper

could touch another soul

it is a plus
it is a perk
and trust me
it makes my day
especially when I see some talent
and I can smell talent
it reeks in here
I love to watch the faces
of people
when I tell them I write poetry
poetry? well alrighty then
I’ve scratched out more verse
to prove my point
on flimsy napkins in bars
then I care to admit
and can you imagine after four shots
of tequila yikes

the point would be
that there is no stopping
there is no hanging up the quill
