the drip
solar panel broken
a-fuken-gan
incessant
steady drip wondering if the roof will cave
proba-fuken-ly
the mountains out there
look like maui
in my backyard
long fingers of green
deep ridges
outlining the edge
of the sky
and I trace it
on the glass leaving a mark
for later
and
I am sitting on a finger
tendril
a backbone
and
I know there is strength here
that I should feel it
but I can’t get it
can’t reach it
don’t know how
I know that there is something for me
some wisdom and power
that I should be able to grab and use
but I can’t
