cursed cursor

flashing cursor cursing me
wanting words
wanting blood
never stopping
flashflashflashflash
I can’t give it
I can’t bleed anymore
I know that I could open up
I know that I could find a vein
something some sad mad hurting pain
some
remembrance of anguish
but
I
don’t wana
and still it bleeps
saying to my conscious
c’mon girl give it to me
whispering you can do it
put it out there
spill your guts
say the words
just say them
you know the score
if you just say them
the pain subsides
when you say them
you release the coil
the angry pent up frustration
I’m here I know I see and feel
and still
I don’t wana
for once why can’t that little flashing line
say
let’s do something pretty today
let’s make pretty visuals
happy thoughts
lovely pictures for our friends
but like a beating heart
a pounding reminder
it says
ahhhh but there are none in you
there is no Shangri-La no perfect world
no happy thoughts
give it up baby say what you really want
say
what you really feel
dark
gloomy
pit of doom
ahhhhh lovely there’s my little cry
in the wilderness of your sorrow
that’s what I like
that’s what I know you need
and I say
curse you cursor
you think you know me
you know not what I feel
you are nothing to me
I want nothing to do with your prodding
me
to the darkside
I know you
you are just a figment of my imagination
you can’t control me
or my thoughts
or
what words I put to the page
so just get lost
cursor of the damned
go back from whence you came
back to the bowels of Microsoft Word
back off my brain
and leave me be
I am not a slave to you or to anyone
you have nothing no hold no claim
to my soul
and still it flashes
mocking
laughing
staying always to the back of my words
judging weighing challenging urging
pushing
more
more
more

does anyone know how to make it stop
I’m serious
make it stop
really
I’m not joking
not even kidding
serious as all get out
it’s
bugging
me
tormenting me
flashflashflashflashflash
cursed cursor

LMAO....this is great. It amazes me how you take a simple thing like a cursor and turn it into a story all of its own.

I know that feeling, take a deep breathe and think about the most lovely things you have experienced in life and if that doesn't work write about all the crap.
