She’s sleeping when I join her
In the bed.
She grumpy grabs the sheet
That I just moved.
So I just look and wonder
How I got her
And how to say it
Without waking her.
So I kiss a finger
And gently press it into her hair.
And feel her breathing change.
I think she knows.
