Morning walks and l'amour talks.

Song #12

It is pre-dawn, and I walk empty streets;
The pavement witnessing silent foot beats.

I am alone, and yet you are with me.

I carry you with me, to all places,
All hidden corners, and open spaces.

I feel your presence, though none else can see.

The morning sun smiles from the sky above,
As we talk, laugh, and fall deeper in love.

My soul joined with yours, and your heart with mine.

Your love overflows my heart’s beating space,
Sending tears of joy down my grateful face.

I’m a dew-kissed flower; you’re my sunshine.

Never let it be said that Mr. Blackwell cannot write the songs, tinkle the ivories and most likely sing onkey, except, of course when the note is supposed to be off center. I like this.

Beautiful and soothing...It remided me of a poem I wrote called "Walking Along the Trails"...when I too was thinking of that special someone!
Loved it!
