Rainbow Blossom



If I could pick a flower
Reminding me of you,
I’d pick a rainbow blossom
Because this much is true :

A single-colored petal
Could never stand the test
Of capturing your beauty
Or qualities the best.

Begin with lips of scarlet
That sweeten every kiss,
The amber glow of morning
That’s spent with you in bliss.

A golden smile that fills me
With joy beyond compare,
Adorned by eyes of emerald
Dispelling every care.

Your laughter is the turquoise
That fills my evening sky;
Your passion keeps me near you
When indigo grows nigh.

In twilight, we share all things
That lovers take and give,
Merging hearts into a home
Where we forever live.

A rainbow is the only bloom
That I could give to you,
A sign of love that always
Gives blessings sweet and new.
