He walked onward through the blistery cold air.
It nipped at his fingers but he did not care.
He walked into the sunset and watched the clouds whisking about in the sky.
He could see his breath floating in front of him renewed with each sigh.
He had no cares and the cold did not trouble him.
As he walked along, he saw the sun sinking as the sky began to dim.
Yet he kept on walking; for he had some place to go.
For, indeed on this cold autumn day there was one thing he did know.
The wind seemed to increase it’s intensity as it blew through his hair.
He did not care that he shivered for he knew where his love was and he soon would be there.
He braved the cold night air because he knew her smile was worth braving the chill.
He had always loved her and he knew he always will.
