Tomorrow is April fourth. My wife and I will be celebrating our thirty-ninth Wedding Anniversary. Well, I will celebrate. I am wondering why she is mourning it. LOL. This is a salute to a wonderful woman.
An Award
Give that lady an award. Give it now.
Her patience is unlimited and I know not how.
She has been married to the same man for thirty-nine years.
She has given him children and smiles and wiped away tears.
She doesn’t seem to mind that she gives more than she gets
And if you ask her she’ll tell you she has no regrets.
She’s always looking for a reason to smile
And she never minds walking with me through the extra mile.
I am blessed by her wonderful love, this I truly believe.
This is the reason through thick and thin I never could leave.
Love is the most wonderful gift ever given in this life.
I thank God in the Heavens for it was he who made her my wife.
Congratulations to you both. This is a beautiful tribute Lew and I doubt very seriously that your lovely wife is in mourning. In today's world of quick marriages and quicker divorces it's good to know that you took your vows seriously. Bless you both and your lovely family too.
