I've read some of your work... not that much, but you do have a flair in short story that lends itself beautifully to poetry. I read this because it had poem in the text. It is a soft and wondrous example of what you can do with your pen. I encourage you to write, "free verse poetry,"' or... or whatever we call it.
I write and let it flow, and if some of it is good, I cheer.... but not very loudly.
I find my titles within the text on most work, so you might want to consider, "Heart Afire" - since that is what happens in the poem. But, what do I know? - Bill
