Burnt papers are all ashes now
but the emptiness remained

My heart ached evenmore
grew more the incureable bitterness

Very good...the destruction of evidence does not relieve the pain.

Sounds so sad, yet bitter. Anger in the end. Roses bring us three things, lovely fragrance, beautiful petals and thorns. Frangrance never lasts, petals unfold and the thorns a reminder of pain. Good write.

Be safe,
Karen
