A Shakespearian sonnet about romance and true love written today for someone I adore.

Her smiling eyes reveal her soul to me
in ways I can't explain without some thought.
To look so deeply, to finally see
what my lifelong search for true love has brought
The fluttering in my belly tells me
when I look into those diamonds, blue
gleaming and twinkling and longing to be
and doing that wondrous thing that they do
My heart skips a beat whenever I see
that smile from my angel which gives my heart
a reason to beat. She amazes me
and makes it so painful to be apart
Like gulls flying across such a vast sea
our dreams and the moon bring her soul to me
"Connection" connects sublimity and togetherness singing to love.
In admiration,
