Another way to look at passion.

Savor the luscious peach.
Juicy and ripe. Sweet beyond measure.
Just out of my reach.
Outstretched arm. Struggling for the treasure.
Must have a taste. Hungry for juice, so sweet.
Can’t quite grasp. Trying so hard.
Shaking the tree. She falls gently at my feet.
On the soft grass of my heart’s back yard.
I pick her up and gently brush her orchid skin.
Inhaling through my nose, I enjoy the lush bouquet
Tasting, juice runs over lips and down the chin
Trickling down the neck in such a special way.
Oh, forbidden fruit, such wondrous joy
Sweeter than honey...Heavenly taste.
Exquisite aroma to seek and enjoy
Slowly caress. Take your time...No haste.
Experience the fulfillment of becoming complete
Ripened in the searing summer sun.
Sharing the pounding of passion’s heartbeat
Until finally we devour each other and become one.
