She just doesn’t realize
That when I look into those eyes
The butterflies inside take flight
Sometimes I feel as if I might
Lose my ability to speak
Breathing fast, my legs get weak.
What is this illness? What’s wrong with me?
I lose control. What can this be?
I wish that she could realize
That when I look into those eyes
I can’t control the urge to smile
I feel like I could run a mile.
And if a smile comes in return
Oh, then the embers start to burn.
What could cause this? What can this be?
I feel so strange. What’s wrong with me?
Maybe she does realize
That when I look into those eyes
All these things are happening
Because my soul begins to sing
And if she’s moved to feel this way
Then every day is my best day
I don’t know what this thing could be.
I don’t know what is wrong with me.
I LOVE TO MAKE HER SMILE
I love to make her smile.
