Slumbering Angel

by Charles Keller — Read all 159 poems by Charles Keller

Tuesday, November 21, 2006

A slumbering angel,
lips curled in dream's
sweet, passionate smile

Oh, MY slumbering angel,
my heart it seems
stops beating for a while

when I see you there
in slumber's bliss
I live with the dream

that somehow you share
our fantasy's kiss
delivered on passion's moonbeam.
