Found an old frame in an antique shop.
It was worn but had classic lines and shape.
Such elegance is rare. I may have to crop
the imagined photo to properly fit. Scrape
and sand and brush 'til perfectly smooth,
surfaced and ready to calm and soothe.
I coated it with shiny lacquer, pewter color,
'til it shined like the silver wake a sculler
stirred in the sea as it propelled me to
the sweet fantasy where I find you.
