~ Since I Met You ~

Lastnight, when you said
the words "I love you"
Tears of joy welled up
in my eyes...

~*~

For quite some time now
I have loved you too.
But, I kept my feelings
hidden deep inside...

~*~

For I feared that I may
scare you away,
Should I reveal what's
truly in my heart...

~*~

Now I could freely place
my love on display,
For the world to view
as a shooting star...

~*~

Into a whole new horizon
we'll journey hand & hand.
As the miracle of our love,
heart & soul become as one...

~*~

Forever i'll be your lady
so shall you be my man.
Oh how beautiful my world
has suddenly become...

~*~

I am so ready to begin
a life so fresh & new.
For Sweetheart,
My entire life has changed

Well written and unabashedly, hopelessly romantic and hopeful! The naked joy behind these words is a delight to read, Trixie! Well done!

Keeping it all inside, is not good, ask my wife, but she's better at expressing herself now a days.
Lovely as always Trixie
