I am constantly inspired by the social habits of the birds living and nesting within my boundaries. Truly, they are a fine example of what you speak of here... and, I have to say it, the glorious and sweet-natured grey rock doves live up to ALL their reputations for gentleness and love as far as I can tell. However, I always find it slightly disappointing for them that their experiences of passion are never really too much face-to-face, as your photo demonstrates!! Yes, lots of bowing, scraping and dancing but no actual eye contact!! :)) Shaaaaaaaaaaaaame!! Not so with your poem here, I figure; very much eye-to-eye, this... LOL K xx
