What's in a name what is honesty To me it is very important I am called by many names people have given them to me a couple I gave myself in poems poet friends call me ,soul bud,minx tiger lily,queen,tiggs,(perhaps I'm called others I don't know about;-) I also have used the name,alrisha ilenia (Italian for Eileen)my name is Eileen,ET,etw!
Someone has accused me of writing in the name of Victor B or Don Juan Amante.There's nothing wrong if others choose aliases for writing, but I never have and do not like being called dishonest! I make a point of being truthful and it offends me to have it questioned. So I'm asking anyone here who knows me over all the years I've been here, have you ever seen a poem under the name of Victor B or Don Juan Amante that was written by me, or that looked or sounded like it was written by me? Is there any poem, by anyone whom you thought looked like I wrote it?
I deeply appreciate your honesty and your help. my name is Eileen T. Waldron,and I do not hide who I am, or what name I write under. I'm a Christian and the truth set me free! It is very important to me that what I write is free from lies because many read me that aren't poets or reviewers and I have built a trust with them. They know I did christian counseling and I want to maintain their trust! I can't be responsible for what other people write under assumed names!

Write whatever or however you like. Writing is such a freedom that no one can take from you. With that said just keep on doing what you do for it is not a crime to write but people will hate for all things.
Eileen you are a gifted and unique writer, don't let anyone bother you with trival harassment, your friends know exactly who you are!

Eileen I had lost my most deerest friend because someone was pretending to be me...NOT being me....and I can say with all honesty I am and will always remain Tinka Boukes. My parents did give my my grannies names HD BOUKES...{ Hester Dorothea } but I hated those names all my life...and got stuck with my nickname my Uncle had given me. It started off as Tinkie...{a little nusery rhymn birdie was called tinkie} because I was a pre-mature baby and weight only 3 pounds...not the 300 like I do now...so the Tinkie became a TinkA. Been in trouble many times in school not reacting to my Christian names. But I just refused to be called that!!
All I can say those accusing you are sometimes the guilty once doing that!!
Keep the faith and ignore the ones trying to put you down!!

Atta girl. When you get those claws out, I get the shivers. Not that I am not honored to be said I am you!!!!! But whoever said it must be stack bonking crazy. I am with Kate bluntly announced when I came back to the den that I was using a pen name. Many authors do and frankly, I am glad I do for it also protects a lot of my security on the web. A pen name Chosen this partially of my ancestors and mine so as to keeping it in the family tree. I am sorry that a petty jealousy has caused others to call false witness against you...
I had read those two before in the other time also you, and I never felt that it was you. it is sad when as professional artist and writers the little foxes cause so a disrupt in the DEN...... Please do not allow this to steal your joy.

PS: I'm sure you didn't mean your "PS" to sound the way it does, but just because a person belongs to another religion (other than Christianity) does not make them dishonest or ignorant. On the flip side, just because someone is a Christian does not automatically make them honest or knowledgeable.

((((Eileen )))) I can see some people are simply jealous of your ability as a writer and like to start bull...Your the most prolific writer on the den..This I know...I once had such problems with certain souls but now I have a philosopy and that is I post and go..I just post, go, I do not read other peoples reviews unless they are mine..If they start gossip I stay gone out of the den for a few days... Half the time I never read my reviews and I never pay them any mind...God, I am FREE, smiling, happy, away from the drama bull crap that goes on..I have known you four years and I can tell you are I feel you are one of the best writers I have seen and the problem is it's a group of petty jealous people..Pay them no mind...Your above it.....Consider it a compliment..You have 77 trackers..I think they are pretty

Well, I speak as one Christian "phony" to another then! :)) It is perhaps not well known, except to those who mail me, that Kate Burnside is not my strict actual name, but one of which I am very fond and which was constructed with much thought and reason... I'm more attached to my KB label than I am to my legit one, as it happens. OK, so Kate is my preferred and second name, but Burnside is a total construct. And, in fact, those who know KB probably know more of the "real" me through my writing than those who believe they "know" me outside of the www. "Honestly, What's in a name?"... much, I'd say. Names are everything, because they are our identity. And noms de plume are fine if they are used with valid reason and integrity. Gotta luv Sage's comment... looks like I will have to get me a new name and pretty quick... But enough of the crap from me! K xx
I'm not quite sure I know what this is about, but I DO know...that I've known E[ileen]. T. Waldron and Victor B[uhagiar] both for over 6 years, have stayed in contact with both, and read their many stories and poetries all this time. I've never mistaken one for the other.
The only bridge 'tween the two (besides a friendship) is their love for writing romantic and deeply spiritual/Christian works. Their styles are their own, each to him/herself, and I couldn't confuse the two.
Guess some people enjoy living in disruption - or causing same for others...to them I say p-a-t-o-o-e-e! Get a life.

Eileen, I am new to authorsden, so my knowlege is limided about your concern, although, I agree with you whole heartidly "Some people are too ignorant to know what integrity means. Eileen, I sort of recall a Don Juan Armante, but I don't remember his writing to be like yours. Besides, what difference does it make if you do write under a pseudonym? Maybe you want to experiment with your writing by posting a piece that is outside of your usual style. Something some people mind find offensive, but you don't want to risk your reputation. I do believe that is your prerogative.

Uh, I have read Don Juna What'shisname, and if that is you, you sure as hell fooled me. Naw, I don't think so. why don't I think it? Because it is just not you, and veasides, you said it wasn't and that is good enough for me.
Sage Sweetwater knows who you are and I have more respect for your honest Christianity than these phony damn people who have infiltrated the den! It's fine to use aliases, assuming you have not duped your readers and they're tired of your crap so you have to grab another nom de plume! Right on, Den Mother...
