Thunder Love Austin
Thunder Austin - within storming sad echoes
As mourning doves weathers love’s falling rain.
Lightning heartbeats streak past, go it alone - hurt
Sulking ground weeps - by yourself - saturated feelings.
Rumble aloud overcast barren skies - cast a-way down
Hanging heavy choke holds, in what was so right, long ago.
That one insisted - was so – so wrong, a pure delight back then.
Thereafter wandering the wondering wind, lost henceforth.
Wet dream pillows soak the night mare tears solitude - without,
Wherein love doves coo “I love you” reverberating over and again.
Where memories nuzzle cuddle huddle two as one incredible peak
Climax that felt, was so wrong and too strong, a past commitment.
Love thunders in Austin that in drought one forgets love’s moisture.
But when the rein come whipping down in thundering sheet worn tears
Wherein it tears the heart wide open in flood waters full of emotion.
Floodgates open in flash flood regrets, when one stormed away.
Where true love of long ago now echoes - Thunder Love Austin.
