Love’s Wake
Flame of nice - heated chilled cold,
As water hits dry ice in shatter shards,
Dagger pieces melting into lava flows
Hitting ocean tides wedding dress.
Divorce twisted around worn memories
Churns upset stomach upon swill backdrops.
Dew mist do not fall - ablaze torn asunder:
What was, what was; lost for ever - eternity.
Paper shredder license promise weeps naked
In I Do - Naught To Be - woe be me heart break.
Funeral flower petals pressed love me – naught’s
Shall thy digress Cupid’s quivers into rivers drowning.
Enflamed ice package baggage of two minus one.
Defected pillow weathered in love’s downy feather,
Gone with wind love dove hurt the core lining fabric.
Hot cold quill in a love melody funeral - falling Grace.
Bear the RIP TAPS of love, be gone, rap a tap tap rap
As knees scrape prayers, woe be me, solemn cries.
Where two minus one crumbles in left alone wounds
Scarred one reaches so low to quake in Love’s Wake.
