Isolation baring the chills of frigid heartbeats

Broken open like a mirrored lake swallowed,

Drowning depth chasm crash departing sea,

Hitting homeless inside nowhere but hollow.

Cast thy distant shadow of hibernated emotions

Upon eye socket waterfalls frozen eye sickles

Shard motion drip drop time motionless rocking

Chair of blank stares freezing in place dagger cuts.

Chisel wounds adrift echo sounds howling aloud,

Piercing stillness to the core awakening of nevermore.

To gasp and grasp that last breath in love departing,

Where on sheets one cowers alone in fetal position

Hibernation.
