One
Such a lonely one,
To Be set all alone.
That one starts,
But does two follow,
As a duet love affair,
Having three children.
Or is one solitary,
As a single digit bachelor,
Or to become one Old Maid.
Yet often one merges two,
Only to divorce,
Back to one,
Being alone again.
So everyday one seeks another
That two can make love special,
Where upon twin arrivals,
One special built baby carriage
Is build for two.
Strolls along as three,
Or even as a family of four.
That in one on one
As two in fertile friction,
One with two
Do have five, six, seven.
But then seven moves out,
Six goes to college,
Five enlists,
Four flies the coop,
Three at fifty,
At last leaves,
Two exhausted,
For one quickie.
But nature soon calls,
As one has to say to two,
Butt, I have to go number two,
Maybe tinkle-tinkle number one.
That leaves two solid,
Or possibly some liquid one,
Be-hind in quick departing twin buns
Getting back to two’s awaiting buns..
In two as one alone,
Having one good time.
