So many paths to crack open

Thursday, December 7, 2017

Poem Artwork

Cracks

Wrinkled time, cracks mind blemishes,

Mistakes done, permeate to rack memories,

While passing opportunity, do haunt past.

What if, I took a chance, reverberates in,

Mirror cracks share, shifting switching sides.

Words weather, said ‘n heard, repercussions.

Things unsaid, wither lost opportunity potency.

Creating increasing gap, barren Grand Canyons.

That said too late, create bigger deeper cut slits.

To narrow them, may make matters, much worse.

Tic tick do drip, tac tock dew naught drop punt.

Mark, or evaporate, to and fro, duet decisions.

Lifeform writing limbs, adrift word ink deposits,

Lifeline riding vibrating voices, being link recorded.

Lifestyles assert courage, or cower with fear regrets.

Crack smiles, into frowns, saying the wrong thing.

How does one know, the right time, to wisecrack?

Does one become mute deaf and dumbfounded?

Yet, does one want, To Be, a loud mouth wisenheimer?

Stepping stones crack, in quicksand weight, set foundations.

Master bullies, crack snap whips, to lash clone followers,

Until puppet strings, snap free, upon individual unique paths.

It’s a hard nut to crack open, doing the right damn thing.

Teeter totter, time moving, balancing act, dissolving any future.

Knowing right moment, to claim one’s inherited inheritance.

Crack line of past, being present, walks defining lines forthcoming.

One needs, to know, when to speak out, or stay, forevermore silent.

Where one weaves, their own safecracker trails, sowing life together.

Within core depth woven principles, one pursues, to claim one’s destiny.

Birthright’s aftercalls wail, being not dealt death’s knell, but livelong challenges.
