I Am Not A Robot

A stinker of a poem using two prompts

Poem Artwork

I Am Not A Robot

"I am not a Robot."

I must do, number one,

And maybe number two,

In a non-robotic dump,

Kind of poetic way.

Wasting away,

Precious rhyme.

Times, number two, morning parade,

It is impotent, to be, poet regular.

One must sit, prim and poet proper,

To await a number two promenade,

Sploosh splash, oh that relief – serenade.

Sometimes one, must have one parade,

Before the other - will follow suit.

Where poets, must flush one,

Before number two, steps into play.

Oh my, I did not mean in doggie piles.

Step in, but please do use TP,

Without leaving dandruff “Behind.”

Yes, I am naught a robot.

What goes down, the toilet proves it,

In that smell being poetic validation in-.

Flatulent Arousing Repugnant Poetry.

That “Fart” that lets people know.

There is a non-robotic Poet around.

Yes, I am, I am one Poet,

Where "Two Parades"!

Note: Poet prompt was one, “Not A Robot” and two “Two Parade.”

I sensed you meant this in a humorous way, but somehow I didn't get that. I did find the trick photo to the humerus. And I find that the ancient Chinese probably discovered the rocket that way. That we rumble certainly is testament to us not being robots. And one could certainly say that your poetry is in no way robotic although you do often come back to similar words in your poems, like we all do.

"a non-robotic poet" There are swarms of robot poets. Posting sites are rife with them. I remember writing on a similar topic some time ago. Here is a portion of that piece:
'Swarms of aspirants
Churning out faithfully bland,
A riotous mess of pabulum from
Sheep-asleep-scribblers
Watching television
For inspiration
With full stomachs
And all their needs met,
Pursuing their poetic huzzah-
Like an age-related martyrdom'…
Your piece struck a chord with me. Has a message that I relate to on many levels. Quite droll too. Well done... r
