Poem Artwork

A

Transient translucent, tranquil tidal, melodic mellow - chill raves.

Swill gentle, thy minds quill quiescence, amidst pastel - pool waves.

Finger paint fingertips, attuned translucence metaphoric poured passages.

Ascendance bears rhythmic vibe vowel - consonant character cool cadences.

Poet’s Mother Nature’s gel hearth; nurtured interwoven weave - is Poet Tree.

Rooted deep between the girth of earth; centered alongside Phoenix’s magma.

Time being compost compounded within elemental chemistry, in living lifeforces.

Lays this element bound foundation existence; Poet’s bare sense tense component.

Graven barren - deserted is any world, without Poet Tree leaves, churning rhyme.

Can one imagine, this fertile seed, in a wasteland ravaged landscape - war scar torn?

Sprout baring hope, in humanity budding love, amid inhumanity demonic bigot hate.

To BEE Matron Earth reborn again, after the Cain of wrath destroys Able wraith brother.

When does A seedling start, upon A furrowed line, between the desert and the mountain?

Between extreme left to right, in trails poets, dew find internal organs through Poetry exposé.

Upon the mist lisp, arises pure germinated Literature moisture that textures Civil Civilization.

Oh hear, thy HeArt, blossom forth, Poet Miracles in Peaceful Interactive Civil Communication.

How does A poet, name A poem; adrift an alphabet that can love, but yet, easy destroy US?

Does one start at A, then go to Z; around and around truncating lines writing A paragraph,

Manipulating A stanza format, moving down A page of rhyme, mounted in A Novel time frame.

A Beginning, A Start, A Journey, A Poem, A Dream, A Prayer - How about stating A simple - A.

Where were you the day I took my comprehensive examination for my master’s degree? I cannot remember verbatim how the last question was stated, but it went something very similar to the following: Take the letter “A” and explain, in detail, how you might use it in teaching. After writing page after page, it started to rain, and I developed a splitting headache. Again, I’m asking. Where were you? I could have used you!

A is a good place to start. I like how you metaphorically tell us in this one that poetry is generally a desert wasteland from which the seeds of poetry and its richness can grow with a little nurturing by the poet. Enough said.

What a powerful write with metaphors blowing my mind! I believe poems bloom and spread through a poet's very being and paint a picture. However the viewer perceives it is another story.

Love ya!

A poet would speak his/her mind in a poem, it would be up to the readers who read it to interpret the poem.
