TOO BEE Demand’s Pollinating Poets
I started within,
One single thought.
Stopped and started another.
Soon there was quite a mass.
I will try hard later,
To combined them all,
When I return home,
To amend bouncing keys.
Life is this continuous journey
That we jump start
With one observation.
Like a dove mating another.
We walk seeing grey squirrels,
Scurrying roundabout tree limbs.
While Common Grackles
Do strut around.
Then flutter away
As you approach.
You will go to the side,
When cars approach.
Stop. Wave to them,
As they go off to work.
When a dog starts barking,
With a wagging tail
That says hello.
Never knew
That was there.
Looking quite perplexed.
But one can perceive
The foundation was there,
Built a long time ago.
As it hid in plain sight.
Blending in,
Like it was,
Never there.
The garden of the Wilson’s.
Bright red roses of the McDougall’s.
One house having tall fences,
All around,
To avoid - prying eyes.
Mrs. McKinney waves frantic,
Amidst sunshine smiles.
Her house exposed,
Adrift open spaces.
But posted in front,
Is a Brink’s Security plaque.
While walking contemplative,
One takes one leaf,
Plies it to another line.
Kneading words to finish,
When one returns home.
One’s Will - will attach,
Creative limbed stanzas.
But will it stop branching?
One does not put on,
Preset society limitations.
Soon the epic is done.
Where it meets -
The leaves paging time.
Each day anew experience.
Where we will have,
A forest Poet Tree branch trail.
A passage up steep stone steps,
Walking past a bronze mermaid,
Enjoying swaying blue bonnets.
Where upon UniQue observations,
We become these novel writers.
