Do we mirror the past - or the future?

Poem Artwork

Existence Mirrored

Centered soul sees through a plane.

Present line moving left to right timeframe.

Left side being retroflection in fading memories,

While right leaves open to our future reflection.

So if one tosses a thousand piece puzzle.

With reality and our reflective mirror side.

How do we decide reality with negativity,

Where left is right, yet up being the same.

Some pieces, may not matter, for they fit,

On both sides, except the edges do differ.

Does one start with the edges of living live,

Knowing one edge is left, while the other right.

If one edge is blue one can assume the top

But what side of live is the past in the future?

So if one starts with four corners to decide upon.

Blue top, bottom green if we are lucky to have light.

So you will put all blue sides upward and flip them

Until they fit together upon one single line

But is this the positive or our negative image?

Yet with blues, one has to fill in both parts.

Seems logical to do the bottom half equation

But the top has taught you our sides confusion.

For filling in the top you have to omit blue sides.

Does not one dew the sky, before cultivating green?

While some of us are always looking into the future,

There will be time, we look backward, into the past.

But what image have we centered upon to complete -

Upon a center focal point of our lives having meaning.

A very interesting and different poem from your usual. From what you are writing I would think that you would have selected red and blue rather than blue and green… If you know what I mean?
