Poem Artwork

To Tell The Truth

Cold be Love’s quill quiver leftovers
That drip drops eye-cicle lovers rivers
Heart fraught friction, bares lucid motions
Heartbreak wrought, bears static emotions.

What Was - TWO being no more, Bee-ing stung
Eyes swollen expend, for ever in never more
Where the last petal, be love me, knots torn tears
Cupid’s arrow, pulling out heartstrings worn sorrows.

Hollow empty deserted feeling, dew wallows de-void
ONE once was whole, amidst hallow halo blessed bliss
ONE once coupled cuddled together be RIP in half parts
Leaving half that’s glad, other half stripped naked inside.

Some people say, love spigots can be turned off – on
You turn it on, amid nights of intertwined duet passion
Come morning, cold be Love’s Cupid quiver erect arrow
More, more moans; yields - hurry get out, we will be seen.

Love is like quicksand, get caught in bed with another cavity
Many regrets later, Forget-me-KNOTS pray a pitiful, I am sorry.
Many Lovers say then, they will be faithful forevermore devoted
But like Politician, who Lies - saying they promise - To Tell The Truth.
